Helvetica Capital arranges succession at NÜSSLI: eps and NÜSSLI join forces
After more than eight years in the portfolio, the group of Swiss entrepreneur-investors led by Helvetica Capital has transferred its stake in the NÜSSLI Group to eps founder and owner Okan Tombulca as part of a planned succession solution.
eps and NÜSSLI are joining forces under the umbrella of eps Nüssli Holding GmbH, creating a globally active provider of temporary event infrastructure with strong European roots, 820 employees, and 50 locations worldwide. Andy Böckli, currently CEO of the NÜSSLI Group, will serve as Group CEO of the combined company, while Hüttwilen will remain the home of NÜSSLI.
At the end of 2017, the investor consortium invested in the NÜSSLI Group in a special situation. Helvetica and its fellow entrepreneur-investors contributed a combination of operational expertise, strategic clarity, and patient capital, enabling the management team to complete a successful turnaround and lay the foundation for sustainable, profitable growth. Today, the company, founded in 1941 in the Swiss canton of Thurgau, is the global market leader in temporary event and special construction, employing approximately 470 people across 21 locations and delivering around 1,500 projects each year.
