valfor advised Templus on the acquisition of nine data centers from AtlasEdge

valfor, working with Uría Menéndez, advised Templus Centros de Datos, S.L. on the Swiss law aspects of its acquisition of nine European data centers located in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Leeds, London, Madrid, Milan, Paris and Zurich from AtlasEdge, owned by Liberty Global and DigitalBridge.

Templus is a pan-European platform of local, hyper-connected data centers, established by global alternative asset manager ICG. The acquisition represents a significant step in the international expansion of Templus’ activities in Europe.  

The valfor team was led by Marc Grüninger (Corporate/M&A, Finance) and included partners Markus Brülhart (Corporate/M&A), Christoph Gasser (IP/TMT, Competition), Leo Rusterholz (Data and Technology) and Regina Schlup Guignard (Tax), managing associate Patrizia Lorenzi (Employment, Energy, Regulatory) as well as associates Marie-Antoinette Aljinovic and Martina Reber.
